2017 Ernie Miller Nature Center Eco-Meet Results

The 2017 Ernie Miller Nature Center Eco-Meet was held on Wednesday October 25.

13 teams made up of 52 students from 6 schools competed.

Winning Teams:

1st Place: Shawnee Mission South High School “A”

2nd Place: Blue Valley North

3rd Place: Shawnee Mission South High School “B”

Focus Area Winners – Reptiles & Amphibians:

1st Place: Jackie Perry, Blue Valley North

Jackie received a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.

2nd Place: Madison Goerz, Shawnee Mission South High School “A”

Madison received a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.

1st Place: Hannah Klein, Shawnee Mission South High School “A”

2nd Place: Victoria Gaa, Blue Valley North

The Ernie Miller Nature Center Eco-Meet was hosted at the Ernie Miller Nature Center by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District with assistance from:

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tuttle Creek Project
